District Sales Manager, Tools & Equipment

Primary Job Function:

To aggressively promote and sell assigned tools & equipment product lines to, or in conjunction with D.C.s, auto parts stores, and the customers they serve. Work to increase sales and market share within your territory via direct end user selling, product demonstration, tool shows and other sales events. Keep your Regional Manager informed of all aspects of your job including training, submission of required reports/itinerary, inventory inspection, merchandising, and sales/profitability clinics.

Education & Experience:

BA Degree or Automotive Technical Degree preferred. ASE A6 and/or A8 helpful but not required at hire date. At least 2 years of experience in Automotive Parts or Automotive Technical field. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required.  Powerpoint skills are helpful.

Provide professional sales leadership Possess personal drive and self-motivation to accomplish sales goals. Possess analytical problem-solving skills. Provide innovative solutions to opportunities and problems. Possess high character and always deal with integrity in all aspects of the position.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to lift packages of warehouse size and weight. (25-30 lbs.) Must have the ability to travel at least 50% of the time. Overnight travel is a necessity. Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
