ATLANTA, Georgia – Nov. 4, 2014 – Two N.A. Williams’ executives were recognized for their continued commitment to education and training by the University of the Aftermarket during the 2014 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nev. Darrell Wade, a vice president for N.A. Williams, was awarded a Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designation while Danielle Sonnefeld, director of marketing, received an Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) designation.
“At N.A. Williams, our staff’s commitment to education and training never stops so I want to commend Darrell and Danielle for earning these highly regarded certifications from the University of the Aftermarket,” said Roger McCollum, president and CEO of N.A. Williams. “These designations for Darrell and Danielle, coupled with N.A. Williams being recognized by the Auto Care Association with a Head of the ClassAward that honors companies that continually invest in employee education and training, shows to our customers that continuous education and training is at the core of our company values.”
The University of the Aftermarket’s AAP and MAAP designation programs recognize long-term commitment to the aftermarket and professional development through programs and courses offered by Northwood University and its association partners. Developed in partnership with AASA, the Auto Care Association, AWDA and Northwood University, the programs highlight both the educational and professional achievements of each recipient and, by extension, demonstrate the resulting competitive advantage for their employers and the motor vehicle aftermarket.
AAP and MAAP certificates were presented by University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank, MAAP, and Northwood University President and CEO Dr. Keith Pretty at Northwood University’s annual graduation and awards luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas.
