Scott Austin Appointed to CAWA Board of Directors

ATLANTA, Georgia – Feb. 25, 2026 – Scott Austin, director of sales, Western region for N.A. Williams, has been named to the California Automotive Wholesalers' Association (CAWA) board of directors.

“Scott’s appointment to the CAWA board of directors is a well-deserved recognition of his decades of commitment to the automotive aftermarket,” said Chris Williams, president and CEO of N.A. Williams. “His deep industry knowledge, strong relationships throughout the Western region and long-standing involvement with CAWA make him an outstanding representative not only for our company, but for the industry as a whole.”

Austin began his career in 1978 working at a Western Auto Store in Oregon. Since then, he has worked in several facets of the automotive aftermarket including production engine rebuilding, buyer and operations manager to his current position as a manufacturer’s representative for N.A Williams. Austin, who has over 40 years of experience in the aftermarket, joined N.A. Williams in 2016 and manages the traditional market in the Western region for the company.

“I am looking forward to the continued service of Scott, who has served CAWA through our Manufacturers Advisory Council for several years,” said Dan Hanson Jr. chair of the CAWA board of directors. “His perspective on our industry is very helpful to CAWA. We appreciate his willingness to make a further commitment to the industry and its trade association out West.”

CAWA is a non-profit trade association representing automotive parts manufacturers, jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers and program groups. The Association was formed in 1955 and serves as the voice of the aftermarket parts industry in the West, i.e., Arizona, California and Nevada. CAWA prides itself on quality customer service to its members and the industry.
